Zamp Z-20 Shield Replacement Guide

⚠️ Important:
Do not use power tools or over-tighten screws when fitting your shield, as this may damage the visor or helmet.

Step-by-step installation:

1. Lay a towel on a flat surface and place the helmet on top to prevent damage.

2. Remove the shield pivot tensioners on each side (the smaller screws).

3. Remove the shield pivot screws on each side (the larger screws). A coin works best for loosening and tightening.

4. Remove the old shield. Use a soft cloth to clean the rubber seal and shield mounting area.

5. Position the new shield on the helmet. Ensure the two white washers are in place between the shield and helmet.

6. Hand-thread the shield pivot screws (larger screws) to hold the shield in place. Tighten gently with a coin until snug — do not over-tighten.

7. Hand-thread the pivot tensioners, then tighten to your preferred shield movement tension.
