Our Story
Helmet 28 was founded by George Richardson, whose passion for racing runs deep.
The name itself is rooted in heritage. The number 28 is George’s racing number, passed down by his Dad who raced in his younger years but never had the chance to go pro. That legacy & ethos still sits at the heart of the brand today.
After a successful motorsport career, George found he was missing something away from the track: a challenge that could recreate the same excitement as winning a race. Through years in the sport, he had built deep industry knowledge and an extensive network, giving him access to innovative, disruptive products that deserved a stronger route to market.
Bringing those products into the UK & Europe, supporting their growth, and connecting them with the right retailers delivered the same buzz as standing on the podium, and so Helmet 28 was born.
Today, Helmet 28 combines motorsport heritage with commercial expertise, operating at scale while continuing to push the industry forward through innovation, expansion, and an uncompromising focus on customer experience.
